Our approach
Why this isn’t another diet plan.
The thinking behind every plan we write, and the policy that keeps our advice honest.
Where we start
Plans written for your kitchen.
Most plans fail because they were written for someone else’s kitchen, someone else’s schedule, someone else’s tastes. Ours start from yours.
We teach the why behind food, not just the what. You should leave thinking “I can actually follow this”, not “I need to try harder”.
What we hold to
Five things we hold to.
Every plan, article and recipe on this site starts from these.
- Why before what — when you understand a change, you can keep it.
- Small, repeatable steps beat strict plans.
- Your kitchen is the starting point — dal, roti, idli and curd are the foundation, not the problem.
- Food supports medical care; it never replaces it.
- Progress is measured in energy, sleep, digestion and consistency — not in numbers about your body.
Editorial policy
How our advice stays honest.
-
How sources are chosen
Guidance links to primary and institutional sources — ICMR-NIN, WHO and peer-reviewed research. Every claim is evidence-linked, or it is dropped.
-
How updates are dated
Every article shows its published date and, when revised, a visible ‘Updated’ date — so you always know how current it is.
-
How to report a mistake
If something looks wrong, email hello@hernutrition.in. Corrected articles show their ‘Updated’ date.
