The name

Why “Her” Nutrition?

Women’s health — PCOS, pregnancy, postpartum, menopause — is a deep part of what we do, and that depth stays. The leaf growing inside the ‘e’ of our logo is the idea behind the name: nourishment that grows with you, through every stage.

The door is open to everyone. Men’s hormone health, children’s nutrition and whole families — if you eat, you’re welcome here.

What we hold to

Nine values, one promise.

Advice you can actually follow — and trust.

  • Personalised

Advice starts from your life, not a template.

  • Evidence-based

Every claim is evidence-linked to ICMR-NIN, WHO or peer-reviewed research — or it’s dropped.

  • Honest

We say plainly what food can and cannot do.

  • Practical

Steps that fit real kitchens and real schedules.

  • Sustainable

Changes you can keep for years, not weeks.

  • Compassionate

No judgement about where you’re starting from.

  • Inclusive

Every age, every body, every plate is welcome.

  • Simple

Plain language and small steps over complicated rules.

  • Trustworthy

Clear scope, stated credentials, honest sourcing.

Clear scope

What we don’t do.

Being clear about limits is part of being trustworthy.

  • We don’t diagnose conditions, prescribe medication or change treatment your doctor has prescribed.
  • We don’t sell crash plans, rules-first charts or one-size templates.
  • We don’t grade bodies or plates, and never build tools that reduce you to a number.
  • We don’t promise outcomes or timelines — progress here looks like energy, sleep, digestion and consistency.
  • We don’t use pressure tactics: no timers, no urgency tricks, no shame.

Editorial policy

How our advice stays honest.

  • How sources are chosen

Guidance links to primary and institutional sources — ICMR-NIN, WHO and peer-reviewed research. Every claim is evidence-linked, or it is dropped.

  • How updates are dated

Every article shows its published date and, when revised, a visible ‘Updated’ date — so you always know how current it is.

  • How to report a mistake

If something looks wrong, email hello@hernutrition.in. Corrected articles show their ‘Updated’ date.
